Top 5: Antiquing on 1stDibs, Italian style
I can’t get enough of of the virtual antiquing opportunities on 1stDibs and frequently stay up into the wee hours, designing fantasy rooms with my new finds. 4) 1950s Murano Glass Chandelier, Italy, 1950s, Murano glass chandelier with six branches. Gold dust mixed into the glass paste.
5) A 20th Century Bronze Horse by Mario Marini, unsigned, Italy, 20th century, With an elongated neck in a galloping pose attached to a marble base, with original patina. Mario Marini was an Italian sculptor whose execution equestrian figures of the 1950’s influenced a whole generation of artists.
