We recently read your blog and thought that your readers would be interested in an international art exhibition making its only northeast stop in Syracuse, N.Y.: “Turner to Cezanne: Masterpieces from the Davies Collection, National Museum of Wales,” will be appearing at Syracuse’s Everson Museum of Art from Oct. 9, 2009 through Jan. 3, 2010.
Syracuse is a great place for a weekend getaway to enjoy this extraordinary art experience as well as local cultural venues that will be featuring performances relating to the collection’s pieces including comedian Steve Martin’s “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” and “The Woman in the Blue Dress” at Syracuse Stage; “La Bohème” and“L’heure exquise” by the Syracuse Opera; and “Beyond the Score” and “Impressionist Masters” by the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra.
Please let me know if you would like more information or photos of the “Turner to Cezanne” artwork, or would like to provide your readers with additional information on special travel packages to Syracuse, N.Y. that are available during the months of the art exhibition.
We can also offer you a weekend giveaway for your readers if you are interested.
I look forward to hearing from your soon.
Thanks

You and your readers might like a new resource for African Textiles. While in Cape Town,
South Africa, our hosts introduced us to a Kraal Gallery, Handwoven Rugs and tapestries: http://www.thekrallgallery.com, Northgate Island P.O. Box 51088, 8002, Cape Town.
Beautiful, colorful, hand-woven, original rugs created by a community of women. Our friends have two large tapestries hanging in their home, a waterfront scene and Mama Africa.
