Why not buy a piece of sculptural jewelry designed by a hot LA based contemporary artist that supports a wonderful cause?  Artist Alexandra Grant created a beautiful special edition love necklace for LA><ART to help raise funds for Watts House Project (WHP), an ongoing collaborative artwork led by artist Edgar Arceneaux.  Watts House Project is a neighborhood redevelopment aimed at improving the homes and lives of residents who live across the street from the historic Watts Towers.  The  Love Necklace is produced by Honor Fraser Gallery, LA><ART, and ForYourArt.

According to LA><ART:

Grant’s work uses language as the basis for images in painting, drawing and sculpture. For WHP, Grant has proposed a sculpture of the word “love” be placed on the roof of a house on 107th Street, literally putting “love on the house.” The singular font and shape of the sculpture is copied in the elegant sterling silver Love Necklace, which embodies both the “hand-made” and the universal aspects of love.

The Love Necklace is $125 and can be purchased by emailing [email protected] or contacting Honor Fraser Gallery.
